Pumpa Consulting PTY LTD, also known as PC Surveys, has operated within the Pumpa Consulting Group since 2002.
We are Development Consultants providing a number of services from our broad range of experience.
Our Services Include:
- We have previously owned and operated modular buildings/homes & commercial sheds businesses, that we designed, engineered and supplied to developers and builders; our background assists us in understanding the needs of clients and their consultant engineers and architects.
- Our experience with structure is useful when undertaking set-out surveys and in preparing Building Format Plans (Unit Development); and helps when progressing developments through Council, service authorities and private certifiers.
- We assist developers in their due diligence to identify and acquire land development projects; from static desktop review of site restraints to introducing our client’s to the potential consultant team or land acquisition experts.
Pumpa Consulting have the background and expertise to simply identify your property’s boundaries for fencing, to assess your property’s development potential or to help you embark on your next major development.
Tim Pumpa, Director
Tim, has over 35 years experience in development, Identification Survey (Cadastral Survey), Engineering, Set-out and Level & Detail Surveys. A large portion of his career was as the Survey Manager and Project Manager in a large Consulting Engineering, Survey and Town Planning company. Tim managed the delivery of large subdivisions (1000+lots) to boutique scale land developments. He came back to Queensland’s Samford Valley in 2004 to be with family and was soon engaged as the QLD & NSW State Manager for a Survey and Town planning practice’s operations in SE Queensland.
Tim has a Diploma of Project Management, a Bachelor of Applied Science Surveying and he currently holds Survey Consulting and Cadastral Endorsements in Queensland, but commenced his career as a Licensed Surveyor in Victoria and has been Licensed in NSW for the purposes of project managing the survey component of infrastructure projects.
Tim also has a formal background in Quality Management that has allowed him to design processes to facilitate development and manage both small and large projects. Tim has managed in-house survey teams and project officers on multiple synchronous projects. He has had the opportunity to prepare policies to handle the complexities of land development or managing contracted consultants and survey teams to meet the required consistency and high standards of projects in OH&S, Environmental, Project Planning & logistics necessary for infrastructure projects.
Tim has worked with in-house Engineers and Town planners as Team Project Manager and liaised with external consultant engineers, architects, designers, town planners and contractors to coordinate the delivery of projects on time.
Over many years he has been Project Manager on many developments ranging anything from Identification Surveys to facilitate large development projects, two lot subdivisions, building subdivision in the suburbs, NBN lease surveys on remote sites across QLD & NSW, to Subdivision Manager on multi staged greenfields development of up to 2500 lots.
His professional memberships have included: UDIAQ – Including member of the Planning and Planning Governance Committee 2011 to 2013 and member of the SSSI Land Surveying Commission Executive, Queensland.
As the Director of Pumpa Consulting, Tim has a good grasp of acquisition, management of town planning and development requirements; and he acknowledges that he has worked with some very clever consultants and contractors over the years that may best suite a particular site or location; being a facilitator and team player, Tim has helped introduce these professionals to his clients.
